Mihai The Captain
| Profiles |
||

Mihai Alexandru Bocsaru is the Communication Agents Initiative webmaster and technical director.
By all means he will be our technology warrior, the commander in chief at our underground control center, the custodian of our communication fortress and the careful supplier of digital weapons for heavy attacks.
Mihai is a wonderful young man full of energy and dedicated to his work like few people around. He is a man of another time. Unlike many young men of his age that work with computers (he is only 22) he loves nature and old, traditional things. He is very attached to his great family and the secular and glorious traditions of his country and fellow men.
Mihai is based in Romania and from there he connects and works virtually with me everyday.
We have been working together for quite a while now (over 2 years) and he has critically contributed to many of our successfull projects. Check the long list of credits gathered by Google about his great work with and contributions with me and IKONOS New Media (Robin Good's company).
All of the technical feats and great facilities we have been able to setup for this project have been achieved thanks to Mihai prompt helping hand and swift technical skills.
If you are a Communication Agent it is Mihai who will provide you with access codes to set up special tools when you will need them, he is also the one that will be responding to many of your posts in the technical labs inside the Forum.
Mihai is also a very lucky man as he has access to a cutting edge connection to the Internet that is completely wireless and that allows him to connect even from the top of a mountain while watching a spectacular view of his country.
On top of this he has the great support from his wonderful girlfriend Iulia, who stands behind all of his great efforts and long awaken nights at the computer. You guys are great!

Mihai, is really someone you can count on.
He will be happy to provide advice and suggestions through the technical oriented forums he is personally moderating.
Since he has been trained at the IKONOS academy of web publishing under me and Massimo Curatella he has become a very picky professional and will not publish a page unless he can make sure that it is fully compatible with all other browsers and that it validates and conforms to the core Internet standards. I have to thank him for this.
In this light he will be able to alert you for small errors or formatting issues that may affect the high quality standards we have now achieved and that we try to follow at all times. It is by following closely these standards that our sites can be accepted and made popular by news syndicators and other services that select and redistribute quality content. (As we can't even see some of these problems, we need to trust his advice and experience. In his lab he is able to monitor each one of our sites and to verify how each page is seen by other people around the world on other types of computers, screens and browsers).
If you are a learning CA just starting up now, please give a very warm welcome to Mihai as you will first exchange with him online. The greater your warmth and humanity with him the greater the respect and attention he will bring to you.
Of course he is not someone to give commands to, but an extra friend that is here to make this incredible dream possible and successfull. As a matter of fact Mihai's nickname is "Captain".
So, let's treat him as such.

I'm sending a wave to Mihai The Captain(and Iulia).
Great to know there's such talent at the helm with Luigi (talent extraordinaire of course!)
This is going to be too much fun.
Warning you guys, I'm strong willed at sea and pitch in fully -I've been to Antarticta - but I can get a bit sea-sick when the waves just keep coming and coming and... So we might have to pace me a bit on this journey!!!
Here's to smooth sailing, great music, and restful nights' sleep.
love
Andrea

Mamma mia! (In English: Oh my!) I'm so very jealous!!
Are there any ways for me to go hiking with this CAI group? I'll keep trying, until 8 September, with multiple and recursive revisions of my experimental Wiki page.

Mihai:
Great to know about you. It's high standards that you have when Robin is saying these good things about you.
You are in fact the back bone of the CAI. It is something especially that you are so young. And thanks to your lovely girlfriend (you guys make a terrific pair) you should be doing well.
All the best.

Thanks, Robin, for introducing Mihai to us. I especially appreciate knowing more about him - and to know he has a wonderful and supportive female companion, Iulia - as I have been working on this project for just a little over two months now and have already had the chance to apreciate Mihai's quiet but efficient mode of operation and support.

Mihai is an excellent choice to serve as "The Captain". After reading his "bio" I feel that he will serve well in that capacity. Mihai, I tip my hat to your success!

It looks like we have the beginning of a *fleet* here, with Robin aka Luigi as *the Admiral*, Mihai as *the Captain* (who dwells on a mountain, if I understand correctly and with a bit of envy, because I'm fancing to be at sea while dwelling on a mountain, but I don't have a wireless connection), and a number of high caliber CAs as *the Crew*.
I wonder if I could qualify as a passenger. My credentials, for a CAI supported environment would-be-passenger, should indicate that I'm not just considering to buy a blind tour ticket. I see a mutual opportunity, for a Publishing System implementor initiative and for a System User constituency experiment to get going.
The wiki page URL i'm providing is just a beginning for a contribution in this direction, If it can make sense to all of you, of course.
Al the best from
yet another Luigi
