Habemus Communication Agents!

Finally the road looks ready to be downhill for a while. The work devoted to discuss applications and to review each applicant goals and mission has been very demanding and not privy of surprises.

The actual application and the Step 1 Focus processes have allowed me to filter those applicants dedicated to the core Communication Agents cause from those that were enthused by our spirit and approach but who did not have qualifying statements and plans about how they would have fit in and contributed to this whole project.

Some of our original applicants had difficulties in finding sufficient time to respond or interact with me, realized they did not share the same point of views celebrated in the Areas for Change document or had technical problems that prevented them from being fully able to access this program.

With much regret I have had to let go great communicators and talented activists of the caliber of Leo Rebello, Emma Hollister, Klaus and Gabi Rudolph, Fernanda Ibarra and Diane Kramer Ph.D. who excitedly tried to join our group in the last two weeks. I am very sorry not to have been able to bring in all of these people in this first group of unique Communication Agents.

Each one of them is indeed a uniquely talented communicator and not being able to provide them with the means and know-how that would extend their reach, visibility and ability to affect positively change is definitely felt like a defeat. In my heart though, I have not closed any door to anyone, as each one of them, has clearly received a message stating that I would indeed be very happy to have him or her on-board as soon as the reasons and obstacles preventing our present partnership will be naturally removed.

I look forward therefore to see some of these very talented persons come back recharged and inspired by the achievements and discoveries that the first group has already started to make.

I am very happy on the other hand, to have arrived at the end of this process and to find next to me a small but rock-solid group of excellent minds ready to start collaboratively learning the art of making (social) waves.

I am very gratified indeed with the group I am ending up with and without being overly self-indulgent I do feel that this is going to be a very powerful team of Communication Agents. Time will certainly speak better and more clearly in support of this, but you can already see from the initial achievements and records set by the three pionerring CAs how much promise this social communication program reserves for those who do have something to say to the world.

It is in this light that I am particularly happy to announce the final graduation to full CA learning participants of two very unique communicators and social-changers of our time:

Andrea rieniets from Australia, who has indeed been the very first applicant to become interested in the CA Initiative, before I had even fully developed the idea, and ZigZag, aka Luigi Bertuzzi, from Italy, who has been providing intellectual commentary and supportive ideas throughout our initial development process.

Andrea is an artist, a musician, a social activist and a true, real-thinking person. She has a good brain and she can make it work well.

This morning I have had a two-hour online conversation with Andrea, and I came out of it completely exhilarated by her synchronicity with our topics and her unique positive viewpoint and attitude toward what needs to be changed.

It was immensely enjoyable going through the Areas for Change she will indeed address and seeing how much of her own life she is bringing into this, bridging effectively personal, collective and universal issues in a mission that can only payback across all the fronts Andrea is already engaged in.

I must say, in full sincerity, I am very proud of having Andrea with us. She will be by herself a tremendous change force and I can already sense the unique advantage she will get from her unique feminine sensitivity and from the fact that she is still a true rebellious free-spirit, seeking self-expression, craving understanding and open to learn from others with truthful questioning and wide open ears.

I wish Andrea could directly express herself here about the sensations and discoveries she has gone through while talking to me this morning as, I am sure, her personal uncontrived and natural voice could say lots about who Robin really is and where it is indeed taking this group of brave agents of change.

ZigZag, aka Luigi Bertuzzi, is a surprise addition to our group as I had long misperceived his talent and skills and had also underestimated his ability to overlap his know-how with our goals for deep social change. ZigZag had always seemed too much concerned with the organizational side of change inside enterprise or corporate-like entities, leaving me with few hooks as to where he could have positively complemented our efforts in the Areas for Change.

I have had a long online live conversation with ZigZag yesterday for my first time, and to much of my surprise I have found a person seriously wanting to support our efforts, and in tune with the fundamental objectives of our Initiative. I have also found an intelligent and articulate person willing to contribute by providing a special support and experimentation role that should create better synergy and the production of useful outcomes from some of the collaborative work we will do online.

ZigZag has offered himself to be an "editorial coordinator" for our first collaborative Manifesto. A document, originated and edited by all of the Communication Agents and designed to provide the basic foundations, principles, best practices and ethics that will shape our evolving modus operandi in the transformative social transformation process we are embarking on.

Luigi argues that change cuts across all of our areas and that conscious efforts must be made to harmonize and facilitate synergistic and harmonious transformation across all of them. We have therefore agreed of testing and experimenting his skills and willigness to contribute to the CAI project in a significant way by appointing ZigZag as coordinator of a special collaboration facility that we will soon start to use to edit and develop the above described Communication Agents Manifesto. Luigi will help us reflect on our own thoughts and will be gently suggesting and facilitating concepts and ideas that could bridge the differences that may exist among some of our point of views. More than anything Luigi wants to augment our ability to synergize together as a group by facilitating and nurturing our direct colllaboration efforts.

I have given my trust to Luigi and accepted his plan within our mandate. I am curious to see the outcome of this experimental partnership as well. Welcome on board royal eagle!

As of today this is my final official list of the first group of Communication Agents at work:

Chris Gupta - Share The Wealth
Sepp Hasslberger - Health Supreme
Ivan Ingrilli - Grillo Parlante

Zoe Lenska
Sebastian Fiedler
Andrea rieniets
Luigi Bertuzzi

Starting on Monday we are setting up the new four sites and during the following days each one of them will start to post in Limbo state. Within a week at the most we shoul be able to see some flowers bloom.

My best water to all of you, wonderful sprouts!

Robin

Dear Robin,

I've read your message at 2.11 a.m. ... and this post at 3.06 a.m.

After our chat over IP I've been busy translating procedures for clinical chemistry analyzers, but my mind was trying to come to grips with the concept of Coordinating Editor (CE) we had just discussed.

At this time, I feel a CE could best be pictured by the big photograph in my ZigZagWeb scratch page, rather than by anybody's face. The picture shows a *lone* alpine skier ... hoping for a future one where a group of skiers is shown approaching their destination.

Like an Open Source Software product, which cannot be associated with an author's face, a collaborative document should not need to be coupled with a writer's face .. I believe.

I know this point must be clarified and I plan to do that with reference to your Areas of Change Manifesto. In my comment to the Transitioner's post there was probably a seed of what I'd like to contribute planting. I must go back and review what I wrote ... and most likely I'll find out it should be reworded ... that's why I think it takes a Wiki.

Nothing I have been trying to publish on the web so far should be read as an article. I've only been trying to utter an invitation to describe a shared concern for interpersonal communication *over the web*. It so happens that such an objective requires work to be done in the area of service user vs provider/implementor. As long as a payed broadband service uploads a garbled picture and a (so called) "free" dial up connection uploads it right ... why on earth should I strive to achieve a better interpersonal communication with anybody else than my broadband service provider, *first of all*?

However, to cut a long story short, on Sept. 8 my Pharos-it.net domain will be obscured by (one of) my provider(s), because I'm not renewing my subscription, and I'll bring to a close my scribbling on the Blogalization Wiki server as well ...

Thank you for pointing me to an opportunity for sticking around after that date, and for *zagging* towards a fresh approach.

Very, very gratefully yours

Zigzagging Luigi
