Learning Support Fund

The Learning Support Fund is the common fund used by the Communication Agents Initiative to support and finance would-be Communication Agents in need of financial support.

The LSF acts as a transparent collector where each one can donate any amount of money to support the learning path of new Communication Agents.

The cost to finance a new Communication Agent in need of financial support is the same price that an applicant would pay to get my full service: € 1,350. That covers all of the learning journey and the nine steps to be completedbefore graduation.

Funds collected so far by the Learning Support Fund (last updated August 11th 2003):

Direct donations: € 8000,00

Communication Agents applicants who have applied for financial support are in priority order:

1. Heidi Hanson and Joe Samsen (application accepted! - sponsored)

2. Zoe Lenska (application accepted! - sponsored)

3. Andrea rieniets (application accepted! - sponsored)

4. Sebastian Fiedler (application accepted! - sponsored)

5. Fernanda Ibarra (application submitted - yet to be approved - 50% possible funding - please support our Initiative)

If you too want to make a difference, do not hesitate in making a contribution right now.

Your little help makes it possible for one of the above people to make true the dream of a lifetime:

  • To work for oneself
  • To help others while doing something great
  • To contribute in person to a noble cause
  • To make a real difference
  • To affect real change in society
  • To help and support others who want to do the same

    Sponsorships Benefits

The Communication Agents Initiative offers the opportunity to those who wish to make a difference but who do not have the time or skill to become an effective Communication Agent to support other Communication Agents and specific initiatives.

The Communication Agents Initiative has a very simple, donation-based mechanism to support his businees model.

    1) All Communication Agents contribute through their personal Web site to collect donations for the Learning Support Fund.
Each site has multiple donation buttons which allow supporters, activists and fans to give whatever amount they may feel most appropriate to support the life and growth of this initative.

    2) The Learning Support Fund is a centralized public fund that it is used exclusively to pay the tuition for qualified Communication Agents who have successfully applied and who are in need of financial support.

    3) Institutional and Campaign Sponsors contribute to the general support, logistic and marketing infrastructure of the CA Initiative and to specific organized Campaigns respectively.

    What the sponsors get:

Sponsors are listed with their logo/photo and a link back to their site on a Communication Agents Initiative page devoted to them.

Sponsors have their brand and tagline promoted also on the Web sites of Communication Agents who are supported by their donation or on the ones of graduate CAs who are involved in the specific initiative being sponsored.

Sponsors can get syndicated content from one or more Communication Agents to be displayed on their site.

Sponsors are provided with the opportunity to hold live conferences and meetings by using the Communication Agents Community Room.

I am looking for further ideas on how to offer more in return to sponsors that is of value to them.
    Your ideas are all welcome.

    How Can I Sponsor This?

    How Can I Sponsor This?

Besides individual donations the Communication Agents Initiative offers two other unique opportunities to support and sponsor this project.

    a) Institutional Sponsors
Institutions, companies or individuals who want to sponsor with a large donation this Communication Agents Initiative are welcome to do so.

The money received from Institutional Sponsors will be used to augment the CA infrastructure both in terms of logistical apparatus, technology support and marketing communications.

All of the money received will be accounted for on a public page. In the same page I am listing items and needs for expansion that could be funded with extra money. In this way Institutional sponsors can choose to support a specific feature or facility and I will be happy to have their name on it for the rest of time.

    b) Campaign Sponsors
Campaign Sponsors are donors who select to invest significant amounts of money (over € 100) to support a specific Campaign.

Organized campaigns will take place once there are at least a few graduated Communication Agents. Campaigns will target specific issues within an Area for Change and they will utilize one or more Communication Agnets to be carried out.

Funds obtained through this type of sponsorship will be made available directly to the CAs that support that initiative.

Initiatives and groups of CAs will compete for such funds by publishing detailed Campaign briefs (communication attack plans) and by listing resources, services and tools required to carry out the Campaign in full. Estimates and detailed descriptions for items and resources needed are provided in a transparent way, so that donors can select also on the basis of value and credibility to which Campaign direct their money.

As in all other cases the Agents will themselves keep an open, transparent account of where an how the money is being spent.

If you have other great ideas on how I could create more effective sponsorship opportunities around this Initiative, just use the Comments box here below.
